Top 5 News and Magazines Apps Performance in Hungary Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 News and Magazines applications in Hungary exhibited diverse performance trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Hírstart - hírek és időjárás from Central Médiacsoport Zrt. saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting at 862 downloads in early April, the app experienced a dip to 485 but rebounded quickly, peaking at 912 in mid-June before settling at 661 by the end of the quarter.

24.hu - Friss hírek, also from Central Médiacsoport Zrt., showed a significant surge in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Downloads started modestly at 245 in early April but skyrocketed to 4K in early June, ending the quarter at 252.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar by Dainik Bhaskar Group maintained a steady number of weekly active users, consistently around 5.5K to 6.1K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a notable spike to 608 by the end of June, despite some fluctuations mid-quarter.
